2026 Spring Season Recreational Soccer Season Season Information
Union Co Elite FC offers recreational soccer for those kids who have never played soccer or just want to play soccer for fun without an emphasis on competition. Players can start who have a birth year 2023, and we offer recreational teams up to birth year 2006. Spring practices will start week of March 23, 2026. Games will start April 11, 2026, and finish on May 16, 2026. Parent coached, small-sided, single-gender teams are a hallmark of our program. We promote technical, tactical and character development for kids of all skill levels in a fun, family environment. Our registration fee continues to be affordable and is based on age, level of play and includes membership in Ohio South, Accident Insurance, a uniform
shirt, training for coaches and referees…and much, MUCH more!

UCISL Programs
• Teams are formed based on birth year and gender.
• Teams are sorted based on experience, coach evaluations, and birth year. We do not take
requests to be on a certain team or to be with a certain coach or player.
• All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Coaches will be allowed to schedule practices on a day that works best for them and most of the team. No experience is necessary to volunteer to coach. We offer training from Elite FC professional coaching staff.
• Practices are once a week generally Mon-Fri starting 5:30 or after at UCJRD
• Ages 2-10 games are on Saturday mornings into early afternoon at UCJRD. Ages 11-12 home games are at UCJRD and away games are in Delaware and Plain City on Saturday mornings and afternoons.
• Children are required to wear shin guards (under their socks) and tennis shoes or soccer specific cleats for practices and games.Players will be provided with matching shirts for game days. Shorts and socks can be any color. No jewelry is permitted during practices or games. This includes small earrings.

MSSA & HSSA Program
• Home games and practices are in Marysville. Away games are in the Central Ohio area. Games are scheduled by MSSA/HSSA and vary during days of the week and weekends.
• Teams are formed based on number of participants and coaches. Limited spots are available. Teams are coached by parent volunteers and practice two to three times a week.

Registration begins on January 1, 2026.
• $65.00 for U3, U4 and U5 Divisions (Children who are born in 2021-2023)
• $75.00 for U6, U7, U8 and U9/10 Divisions (Children who are born in 2016-2020)
• $80.00 for U11/12 Division (Children who are born in 2014 & 2015)
• $105.00 for MSSA (plus $45 for uniform) MSSA are players born in 2011-2013
• $85.00 for HSSA (plus $45 for uniform) HSSA are players born in 2007-2010
LATE FEE OF $10.00 WILL BE APPLIED ON FEBRUARY 15, 2026.
REGISTRATION ENDS FEBUARY 28, 2026. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT DATE.

Spring 2026 UCISL Rec Soccer Season

Thank you for your interest in our SPRING recreational soccer season. We are so excited to have returning players back for another season and ready to meet new players!! Most commonly asked question is what day and time is the practice going to be.......we do not have an answer to this question as the day/time of the practice is determined by the volunteer coach. And we will not know who your child's coach is going to be until the beginning of MARCH when we are drafting teams. We ask that our volunteer coaches set a practice day and time that works for a majority of the team. We can say that it will be during the week from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm at our fields on County Home Road (MSSA & HSSA practice at Mill Creek).

Parents will be contacted by their child's coach during the first two weeks in MARCH. Practices will start the week of MARCH 23RD. First game will be APRIL 11TH and the last game will be MAY 16TH (SIX week season with a game every Saturday).

HSSA & MSSA practice schedule and game schedule is TBD.

Please wait until mid-MARCH to contact us if you haven't heard from your child's coach. We will not take coach requests, friend requests nor do we know the day/time of the practice until the volunteer coach determines it which will be sometime in the first two weeks of MARCH.

For practices and games, your child will need:

-shin guards

-long socks covering the shin guards

-preferably soccer cleats (no baseball or football cleats allowed) or tennis shoes

-water bottle

-size 3 ball for birth year 2023-2019

-size 4 ball for birth year 2018-2012

-size 5 ball for MSSA & HSSA

Below are the tentative dates:

1-1-2026 - registration opens

2-15-2026 - late fee of $10 begin

2-28-2026 - registration ends

3-20-2026 - coaches meeting

Week of 3-23 -practices can begin

4-11-2026 - first game

4-11-2026 to 4-18-2026 - picture week

5-16-2026 - Last game (6 week season)

Parent coached, small-sided, single gender teams are a hallmark of our program. We promote technical, tactical and character development for kids of all skill levels in a fun, family environment. Our registration fee continues to be affordable and is based on age level and level of play and includes membership in Ohio South, accident insurance, a uniform shirt, training for coaches and referees…and much, MUCH more!

Recreational teams from birth year 2023-2012 are formed based on birth year and gender. We do not take requests to be on a certain team or to be with a certain coach or player. All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Coaches will be allowed to schedule practices on a day that works best for them and the majority of the team. No experience is necessary to volunteer to coach. We offer training from Elite FC professional coaching staff. Practices can be held Mon to Fri starting 4:30 pm or after. Birth year 2023, 2022 & 2021 teams will have a 30 min practice once a week. Birth year 2020 teams will have a 45 minute practice once a week. Birth year 2019, 2018, 2017 and 2016 teams will practice one hour once a week. Birth year 2014 & 2015 teams will practice for one hour once a week with an optional second practice, and these teams will travel to Delaware and Plain City for 2-3 games per season. All other games and practices are held at UCJRD which is located on County Home Road.

Games are played on Saturday mornings to afternoons (sometimes at 2:00 pm or later). Some Birth year 2014 & 2015 games will be on Saturday afternoons. Children are required to wear shin guards (under their socks) and tennis shoes or soccer cleats for practices and games. Players will be provided with matching shirts for game days. Shorts and socks can be any color.

Recreational Middle School teams will play each fall and spring in the MSSA program. Home games and practices are in Marysville at the soccer fields on Mill Creek by the High School and Mill Valley South Park. Away games are in the Central Columbus area, and they will play an end of season tournament. Teams are formed based on number of participants and coaches. Limited spots are available and teams are coached by parent volunteers. Teams practice two to three times a week. Games are scheduled by MSSA and vary during days of the week and weekends.

Recreational High School teams will play each fall and spring in the HSSA program. Home games and practices are in Marysville at the soccer fields on Mill Creek by the High School and Mill Valley South Park. Away games are in the Central Columbus area. Teams are formed based on number of participants and coaches. Limited spots are available and teams are coached by parent volunteers. Teams practice two to three times a week. Games are scheduled by HSSA and are held on Sunday afternoons.
